At a time when military museums are under threat, we need to support our Museum. We also need to ensure it meets our needs and expectations. The Friends of The RLC Museum is an organisation that does just that.

The Friends of The RLC Museum have a number of roles:

• Raising funds to support the Museum's work and collections.
• Supply volunteers who offer their skills, time and energy to support the Museum's work.
• Promoting the Museum through an informative and original events programme.
• Influencing others in order to promote the Museum's work.

Volunteers are essential for the Museum's future. There is a huge amount of material to be researched, catalogued, archived, preserved, maintained, interpreted and displayed for current and future generations to appreciate.

This is not just an 'officer sport' - anyone can become a Friend and help out and indeed all are welcome! You do not need to have either Service or professional logistics connections to join,  just a sense of commitment to furthering the Museum's development.
